School Sucks

School Sucks started in July 1996. A crazy idea, but it worked. It's a lot of fun for us over here. Starting in Miami and a few other places. It's been an incredible 5 years. It changed us, but we remain the same 'simple guys' we were when we were dreaming. We've seen the .com cycle come and go. We were courted but didn't jump on the bandwagon. Brian Epstein hasn't shown up but we're having a great time! :) A few things you should know about us.. We have a lot of meetings at the beach. It's the best place to sit and go over things. Notebooks, a cold drink, and discussion with the waves and each other! When the meetings are at home, they're usually at an apartment with cardboard standups of The Beatles, Star Wars figures (including Yoda in the bathroom) and loads of microwaveable food. And music (yes, classic rock!). Sometimes the meetings begin at places that sell burgers and then we move it to the beach. The real work is done late at night. The dude who works at our beach spot brings us a little table when he sees us -- he knows it's a School Sucks meeting. That's Suckstory for now. More later...
