“I’ll believe it, when I see it”, is one of my favorite and most used quotes so far. How can people live their lives by a book that over 66 different people wrote over 3500 years ago? It makes you wonder how much of it is actually true. In my opinion, if you can’t see it nor touch it, then you shouldn’t live by it. In my opinion, the complementary perspective is for individuals who are scared to believe that there is no God or other supernatural existence out there, so they take the best of both worlds and settle with that. Fundamentalism, on the other hand, is for those who are oblivious to the facts of science. They always believe in God and obey the rules of their religion. Personally, scientific materialism is what suits me the finest. I believe that we evolved from Homo sapiens and there was by no means Adam or Eve that was put on this earth.
